AGGREY KAPUTENI

CHAIRMAN

Aggrey has over 20 years a wide range of experience in retail and corporate banking, finance and accounting, auditing and risk management. He has a passion for excellence and new ideas to improve existing systems through new ways that challenge the status quo. He worked as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Audit Officer at Opportunity International Bank and had worked with a number of organizations prior. He is currently a Lead Consultant at WTC Consulting.  Aggrey is a Certified Public Accountant (Malawi), an Associate of Chartered Management Accountants(ACMA), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Aggrey holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Malawi.

BEATRICE  MAKWENDA

DIRECTOR

Beatrice is a respected and motivated development leader with over 15 years of working experience, specializing in program development and livelihood improvement. She is currently working with NASFAM as Head of Policy and Communications and has experience with Multi-Country projects. Beatrice holds a master in Business Administration (MBA) obtained from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI) Tanzania and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture.

DONVAN SILUNGWE

DIRECTOR

Donvan is a practicing lawyer with more than 10 years’ experience in litigations and currently working as Managing Partner at his own firm, Silungwe Law Consultants. He has authored, among others, a book titled Personal Injury Claims in Malawi: Arising from Road Accidents and has successfully represented insurance companies in many cases. Donvan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Malawi, The Chancellor College, and he is a member of the Malawi Law Society.

DUNCAN NDHLOVU

DIRECTOR

Duncan is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of project/programme management experience in humanitarian emergency relief, food security and resilience projects, working with WFP, other UN agencies as well as the government, local and international NGOs. He currently works with the United Nations World Food Program (Malawi) as Head of Emergency Team.  Duncan holds Master of Science degree in Development and Natural Resource Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), Ăs, Norway and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (Economics) from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture.

GIFT LIVATA

MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO

Gift is a financial services expert specialized in microinsurance and agriculture/rural finance with over 13 years of mass-market experience. He worked as Agriculture Manager and later Research and Marketing Manager at Opportunity International Bank before joining MicroEnsure where he worked as a Country Manager for Malawi operations. Gift is a Chartered Marketer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture.
